Join Crescent City Stage for a two-week summer theatre camp designed to build confidence, creativity, and community through acting, storytelling, and play. Each week culminates in a live performance for family and friends!
Campers will spend their days learning theatre fundamentals through games, movement, character work, and rehearsal — all while collaborating to create an original production.
Maximum enrollment is 14 students per week to ensure individualized attention and a supportive, ensemble-focused experience.
Choose One Week or Join Us for Both
Campers may enroll in Week 1, Week 2, or both weeks.
Students enrolled in both weeks will participate in two connected productions set in the same story world, deepening their skills and confidence across the full two-week experience.
Week 1: MYTHS
Campers will create an original performance inspired by ancient legends, magical worlds, heroes, and mythical creatures.
Week 2: MYSTERY
Campers will step into the role of detectives, suspects, and storytellers as they collaborate on an original mystery adventure.
What Campers Will Do Each Day
Theatre games and ensemble-building activities
Acting fundamentals: voice, movement, storytelling
Character creation and scene work
Rehearsals leading to a final performance
Creative collaboration and confidence-building
Final Performance
Each week ends with a short, fully staged performance for family and friends. Performances are designed to be fun, age-appropriate, and a celebration of every child’s growth and participation.

Camp will take place at our CCS Studio at 6063 Magazine Street.
