Crescent City Stage is built on a simple belief: the people who make the art deserve to be paid for it. Every position at CCS — onstage, backstage, in the classroom, and in the house — is a paid position. Our minimum wage is $15/hour, and we work under AEA agreements where applicable.

Teaching Artists
Fall 2026
We are actively seeking experienced, playful, and inclusive teaching artists for our fall programming at our studio on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans. We are especially looking for teachers comfortable working with younger students, PK through 5th grade, for afterschool and Saturday classes beginning this fall.
What we're looking for:
A love of theatre and a genuine delight in working with young people. Experience teaching in classroom or studio settings. An inclusive, collaborative approach. And a great attitude — we take the work seriously and have a lot of fun doing it.
